Oscar Lundin and Benjamin Kainz, both born in 1988, founded Ung Omsorg Sverige AB (Young Care Sweden) in Växjö in 2007, which today is based at SSE Business Lab in Stockholm. The company is Sweden’s largest staffing company with middle and high school students, with currently 450 young people employed all over Sweden. The concept is, in practical terms, to add “that little extra” in the elderly life, through, for example, walking, reading aloud, singing and similar activities. From the beginning, however, the idea was to create summer jobs for young people while they wanted to activate older people and thus creating intergenerational meetings.

The boys are currently studying at Stockholm School of Economics and look forward to expand the company in Sweden and within five years internationally.

Fotter: Oscar Lundin and Benjamin Kainz became in 2006, along with Vidar Aronsson and Stefan Boman, Swedish Champions in Young Enterprise with their YE-company Aeroplast UF.
