Therese Albrechtson founded in 2005, only 19 years old, the company Bodyguard Säkerhetsprodukter AB, whose mission is to sell personal alarms. The idea came when some friends, because of the increased street violence, in the end didn’t dare to walk home alone at night. Bodyguard’s products are currently sold in over 3,000 stores, in everything from security shops, locksmiths to food stores, 7-Eleven and the Swedish convenience store chain Pressbyrån. The company was later sold in fall 2008.

The 23-year-old girl from Göteborg was accepted for good repute Stochholm School of Economics but chose her own business instead of studies after attending the course Young Enterprise in high school. Today, Therese manage two companies through Albrechtson Holding AB; GreyZone AB and Iboards of Scandinavia AB. In addition, she travels around the country holding inspiring lectures on entrepreneurship to everything from school children to top politicians and business executives.

For her entrepreneurship Therese has become very visible in the media. Recently she has been appointed the Best Young European Entrepreneur 2008 by BusinessWeek. Earlier Therese has also been appointed ambassador for female enterprising by the government.
